Sr Python Developer

My client is a leading Australian owned and operated global solar battery manufacturer that is matching it with large battery manufacturers globally. Due to continued growth, my client is seeking a Senior Python Developer to join the team of software and test engineers to drive the pipeline of new and exciting projects, focused on making the company a key player in the global smart energy industry.

Ideal Candidate

• 5+ years of experience with Python and related networks
• Experience leading a team or mentoring younger developers will be highly regarded
• A confident and clear communicator
• Deadline driven with excellent organisation and time management skills
• Be able to focus on multiple projects simultaneously, with energy, enthusiasm, and dedication
• Possess a real passion for technology

Skills and Experience

• Python 3 (with focus on event-driven code using asyncio)
• Proficiency in "Internet of Things" (IoT) concepts and architectures
• Data Analysis (with eg NumPy, Pandas)
• REST API (FastAPI)
• Automatic testing (pytest)
• Backend security
• PostgreSQL, SQLite
• Debian/Ubuntu Linux, git, docker
